We hope that you will choose to stay at the Ausable Club, because all events will take place there. Here are some local suggestions, though, if you would like to stay elsewhere:

In Keene Valley

There are two Bed and Breakfast inns in Keene Valley, about a ten minute drive from the club.

Trail’s End Inn: http://www.trailsendinn.com

In Keene

Keene is roughly twenty minutes away, towards Lake Placid.

The Bark Eater Bed and Breakfast: http://www.barkeater.com The Bark Eater also offers horseback riding and polo.

On Elk Lake

Geographically close to the Ausable Club (just over the mountains), but a longer drive, Elk Lake can only be reached by car from exit 29 on the thruway, roughly 40 minutes away.

The Elk Lake Lodge: http://www.elklakelodge.com

In Lake Placid

Lake Placid, forty-five minutes away, has a number of hotels and resorts.

In Saranac Lake

Farther afield, over an hour away, this hotel on Upper Saranac Lake might be a good place to stay before or after the weekend.

Accommodation

We have reserved the main building of the Ausable Club, which includes two floors of rooms and suites. The surrounding cottages have also been reserved; we are saving these for large groups of friends or families. The cottages are more rustic than the main building, and have living rooms, kitchens, fireplaces, and porches.

To make a reservation, please call 518.576.4411, or email Anita Hall at ahall@ausableclub.org.

When booking, please keep in mind that you are welcome to arrive early, stay on, or both.

The Ausable Club does not currently accept credit cards. Payments must be made in cash or by personal check drawn from a US Bank.
