On Elk Lake
Geographically close to the Ausable Club (just over the mountains), but a longer drive, Elk Lake can only be reached by car from exit 29 on the thruway, roughly 40 minutes away.
In Lake Placid
Lake Placid, forty-five minutes away, has a number of hotels and resorts.

Accommodation
We have reserved the main building of the Ausable Club, which includes two floors of rooms and suites. The surrounding cottages have also been reserved; we are saving these for large groups of friends or families. The cottages are more rustic than the main building, and have living rooms, kitchens, fireplaces, and porches.
When booking, please keep in mind that you are welcome to arrive early, stay on, or both.
The Ausable Club does not currently accept credit cards. Payments must be made in cash or by personal check drawn from a US Bank.
